XCLUSIV FOTOS: Celebrities and Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Donate to Flood/Fire Victims

Members of the creative arts in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts on Tuesday, June 9 donated an undisclosed amount of money to victims of the June 3 flood-cum-fire disaster.

Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) with support from Joy Industries, Special Ice and several celebrities first visited the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital and later the 37 Military Hospital.

At both hospitals the group visited victims of the Wednesday June 3, 2015 Accra floods and Goil gas explosion who were on admission at the time of their visit.

They donated several items including water, drinks, oil, wheel chairs, bread, other food items and undisclosed amount of money to support the victims.

Some notable faces present were Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, Actress and television presenter Selassie Ibrahim, Nii Odoi Mensah, Mr. Beautiful, Roselyn Ngissah, Koo Fori, Bill Asamoah, Kwame Dzokoto, Ayitey Powers, Bokom Banku, Pascaline Edward, Akorfa Ejeanie Asiedu, Barima Sydney, Salinko, Edinam Atakye, Funny Face, Philipa Baafi, Celestine Donkor, Obour, Bernard Amankwa, Flowking Stone, Irene Opare, Kalsoume Sinare, Ekow Smith Asante, Dan Tei, among others.

A national memorial service was held today Wednesday, June 10 for the victims.
