A man, whose name, was given only as Labista has been picked up the police in the Asokwa constituency in Kumasi apparently for cursing some executives of the constituency with the river deity, Antoa.

According to Graphic Online correspondent, Kwadwo B. Baffoe, the man claimed the voters register had been changed by the executives to benefit the incumbent member of Parliament, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, prompting him to call on Antoa to deal with those who allegedly connived to change the register in her favour.

He also accused the constituency executives of being behind a plot aimed at preventing former MP, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, from getting elected.
