U20 World Cup: Brazil Thump Senegal 5-0 In Semi Final

The junior Selecao put the young Teranga Lions to the sword in Christchurch early on Wednesday morning to reach the final of the Fifa U20 World Cup.

Senegal, one of Africa’s two teams in the semi finals of the 2015 Fifa U20 World Cup, were cut to size by Brazil in the first game of the day.

Five goals for the men in canary yellow meant that the junior Teranga Lions will not reach the final for the first time in their history.

An early own goal by defender Andelinou Correa in the fifth minute was followed by a beautiful finish from Marcos Guilherme two minutes later as Brazil made their dominance count.

Boschilia and Jorge Jesus completed the dominant first half for the South Americans and  Guilherme scored the final goal late in the second half.

Brazil head to the final in search of a record-equaling sixth title and await the winner between Serbia and Mali in the other semi final.
