NDC Backs Saboba DCE

Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region have called on President Mahama to disregard claims by some irate youth in the district that the District Chief Executive (DCE), John Adolf Ali and the Member of Parliament (MP) be removed.

According to the party executives, the youth were aliens who want to tarnish the image of the DCE and the MP, who are working hard to ensure that development projects that would attract votes for the party to win the 2016 election are brought to the district.

“The aggrieved NDC youth of Saboba are aliens who are not known in the party at the constituency level since its inception in 1992 but believe to have been bribed by certain people to blackmail the DCE,” they said.

This came to light at a press conference organized by the constituency executives of the party in Saboba to react to the allegations being leveled against the DCE and the MP.

They argued at the press encounter, which was addressed by the party’s constituency Secretary, Mr. Joshua Chemah Yaadarg that the party in Saboba has a well disciplined and organized youth who are well abreast with the activities of the party in that area and also liaise with the executives for the implementation of projects.

He reiterated that the actual youth in the area cannot do anything without the knowledge of the executives and that they would always channel their grievances through the proper structures of the party.
