Son of President Mahama Reveals Intention To Become Professional Footballer

Sharaf Mahama, son of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has revealed his intention to become a professional footballer when they opportunity avails.
 
The 22-year-old who is currently studying in a University in the UAE featured in Stephen Appiah’s testimonial match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

“If football presents itself, why not (I’ll consider becoming a professional soccer player),” Sharaf told GTV’s Kwabena Yeboah after the game on Saturday.

Sharaf who was initially studying law at the Kent University in the UK has been a keen follower of the game and spends his leisure time playing football.

He is reported to be the first and only son of the sitting President.
