David Duncan Insists Kotoko Will Bounce Back From Hearts Defeat

Kotoko Coach David Duncan believes his side will overcome their setback in the President’s Cup to prepare ahead of their upcoming League fixture against Medeama.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 5-4 on penalties to sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2015 edition of the President’s Cup.

The defending League Champions yet again succumbed to a defeat at hands of their rivals this season after losing 1-0 in the first round of the League.

Duncan who was hoping to clinch his first title since taking charge of the Club says his side will bounce back from the defeat.

“I will submit that we do it on a regular basis. Just getting over defeats and games that we think we should have gotten results we didn’t get,” he told the press.

“We always find a way around getting back psyche right going into the next game. We are used to these kinds of situations and bouncing back from them.”

“Is one of those setbacks that from time to time players and Coaches go through, but we will put it behind us as we always do.”

Kotoko will take on the Mauves at the Takwa T&A Park in match-day 21 of the First Capital plus Premier League on Sunday.

The Ghanaian Champions are currently 8th on the log sheet with 28 points, nine points beneath league leaders Ashanti Gold.
