Stars Of The Future Kicks Off

The fourth season of Ghanas leading music reality show, Stars of the Future, which began last week, will continue this Friday at the National Theatre in Accra. The 12 finalists are expected to battle it out for a wining package including a car and a recording deal in the weeks to come. Every Friday for the next 13 weeks, the contestants will perform to win public votes and score marks from the judges, Doreen Andoh of Joy FM, Zapp Mallet, a producer, and Kiki Banson, CEO of EKB Records. It is on record that so far, the previous editions of the event have been successful and exciting as compared to other music reality shows held in the country. This years event, according to the organisers, would be broadcast on Sunday afternoons on GTV and the eviction shows on Tuesday nights on the same channel. The organisation of the event, according to many music fans, has been exceptional, and the contestants have all the qualities to be on the show. The winner of Stars of the Future would take home a brand-new car and a whopping performance contract worth about 25000 Ghana Cedis during his reign, courtesy MTN. There will be a total of about 9000 Ghana Cedis cash shared among the remaining finalists. Courtesy of MTN, the weekly winners of the MTN Golden Moment will receive 100 Ghana cedis worth of airtime.
