Concert OF Grace 2015 Launched

They say music is food for the Soul and for 10 years, Sanctuary of Grace Incorporated (SOGI) has been offering great music tunes to serenade thousands of souls in the Ashanti Region.

The concert previously dubbed “IntersectoChoirofest” has now been rebranded and the name changed to Concert of Grace (COG’15).

On Saturday 4th July 2015, the new name of this annual event was officially outdoored to the general public. The press launch of this year's Concert of Grace happened at Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.

Addressing the gathering, Rev. Dr. Patrick Owusu, founder and patron for the singing ministry - SOGI – outlined the outstanding evolutions of the group.

“When the group started 10 years ago, their primary target was to reach out to students in second cycle and tertiary institutions with the word of God through music, drama and choreography since most members were either in high school or tertiary institutions. However as the group evolved and grew, their fan base and audience at the annual concert also evolved from students to professionals, pastors as well as several matured and respectable individuals in the society; hence the need to change the primary target to better serve all these individuals with their ministry,” he recounted.

Chairman of the planning committee of COG’15, Roland Bruce added as part of the event rebranding, the group will add to its menu Corporate Social Responsibility and further unveil its album comprising 5 new unique gospel songs written and composed by members of the ministry.

Concert of Grace 2015 will be a 3-day event starting from Friday 14th August with a Family and Anointing Service, followed by free health screening on Saturday 15th August and end on Sunday 16th August 2015 with a night of worship in the company of other ministers of God.

Tickets are selling for GHC 30 VIP and GHC 10 Regular.
