Reggae and Dancehall in Ghana has for some time now gotten attention due to its numerous artiste who are coming up � the genre which has been known to be the music of Jamaicans has now taking over Ghana�s music scene. The likes of Kaakie, Shattawale, Stonebwoy, Samini, Jupitar and others have taken center stage in Ghana�s dancehall fever with some newcomers making classic tunes to match up their superiors. Upcoming Ghanaian dancehall artist, Don Wan born Mohammed Kumi has made known his excitement at the rise and popularity of reggae and dancehall music in Ghana after releasing a single which is receiving massive airplay across the country. Song titled �Sunsine Gyal�, Don Wan is hoping to make an impact in the dancehall genre in Ghana and overseas. He however applaud BET award winner, Stonebowy for showcasing how unique Ghanaian dancehall is internationally.
