NPP Must Reach Out To Grassroots...

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Hemang/Lower Denkyira, Mr Bright Brobby, has challenged the rank and file of the party to continue to reach out to the grassroots to preach the message of unity since the party is ready for political power.

He has therefore underscored the need for unity to prevail within the party to enable it to wrest power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2016.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Graphic after a meeting with the flag bearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, last week at his Nima residence, Mr Brobby said now that the party’s primaries were almost over, it was time for all to come together to put their shoulders to the wheel and campaign vigorously to garner support from the electorate for the 2016 Election.

He, therefore, entreated those who lost the primaries to throw their weight behind the party and support those they lost to for victory.
He also advised victors to reach out to the vanquished for total unity.

Mr Brobby said the primaries was not a do or die affair but only one of the rules and processes for the selection of candidates to contest seats in the various constituencies in the 2016 election.

He said he had initiated moves to unite members and supporters in his constituency for a united front against their opponents.
Mr Wireko-Brobby, a community development consultant, with over fifteen years experience in management training and facilitation brings a wealth of experience on board.

He has worked extensively as a facilitator and resource person for numerous capacity building me for key development organisations in Ghana.

These organisations include the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Cargill Ghana, Mondelez Cocoa Life programme, Solidaridad, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), the Department of Social Welfare, Voluntary Services Overseas, World Vision Ghana, CARE International, AngloGold Ashanti and Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (NGGL).
