A resident of Community 5,000, a slum behind the Melcom Plaza, Tema Community One, was on Sunday stabbed to death by another squatter.
The body of the deceased, Ibrahim Issaka, has been deposited at the Tema General Hospital mortuary to be transferred later to the Police Hospital for autopsy.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Juliana Obeng, Tema Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, said Kweku David, 20, the suspect and his accomplice Abubakai Rabiatu, 29, are in police custody.
ASP Obeng said David had a misunderstanding with the victim, which resulted in a fight, during which Issaka was stabbed in the left breast with a knife.
She said Issaka, was immediately rushed to the Tema General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
