Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo has sent “shout outs” to multiple award-winning artiste, Sarkodie who turns 30 today.

Nana Addo in wishing Sarkodie a happy birthday tweeted: “I wish you long life and good health, and may your music continue to inspire the youth of our country.”

Sarkodie, real name, Michael Owusu Addo is a Ghanaian hip-hop and hiplife artiste.

In 2015, Sarkodie was ranked the 19th most Influential Ghanaian by e-TV Ghana. In the same year, he was named by the Guardian as one of the top five hip hop acts on the African continent.

A number of Ghanaians also took to Twitter to wish Sarkodie well in his music career.
