Ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah wants FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi to retain his seat in the impending FA presidential elections. Appiah is backing the astute football administrator to maintain his position as President of the Nations football governing body. Nyantakyi who will be contesting for the third time as FA President faces competition from self acclaimed juvenile football coach Ofeibea Ramatu who has already made her intention to contest the WA All Stars owner by picking up a nomination form. Appiah who made history as the first captain to qualify the Black Stars to a World Cup in 2006 when Nyantakyi had been elected into office wants the CAF executive member to be maintained as FA boss. �I think Kwasi Nyantakyi is doing very well. He has led the Ghana to the world cup and we have to give him credit for that,� he told Starr FM �He has done a good work and I think he must be maintained as the FA president.� Nyantakyi would be serving his fourth term in office should he emerge victorious in next month�s election. This year�s Presidential election takes place in the Northern Regional capital of Tamale on Monday August 17.
