Let's Collectively Help Gov't Sustain Economic Stability - NDC Vice Chair Pleads

Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on Ghanaians to collectively assist the government to sustain economic stability.

According to him, it is about time Ghana as a nation, stopped making negative pronouncements about the administration of the government.

Hon. Ofosu Ampofo was commenting on the mid-year budget review statement delivered on Tuesday by the Finance Minister Seth Tekper at Parliament.

To him, Ghana like any other country is faced with challenges because of the volatile global trend; hence the country cannot be isolated.

He opined that certain pronouncements made by some leaders of the country does not augur well for progress because "sometimes just a single statement by one person can cause a stir on the financial market…Why can’t we say that [look] as a nation, let us all laud ourselves with these developments. What can we do individually and collectively to help sustain this stability that’s coming into the system?

Hon. Ofosu Ampofo therefore believed with the collective efforts of all Ghanaians, the economy will see a major improvement.
