NPP Is Going Bonkers! With �Rented Attack Dogs� Within... - Bryan
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) parliamentary candidate for Abetifi in the Eastern region, Bryan Acheampong has said his party is going bonkers as such all kinds of things happening must stop for the party to be attractive to floating voters come 2016.
According to a post on his facebook wall; "getting one’s arm around this media self-inflicted savagery is a challenge now!".
"The other precarious situation is we have come to a point where those who must call members to order are being battered savagely to the extent that it is only when the flag bearer calls for cease fire that a semblance of peace prevails. Even that, some elders and the “rented attack dogs” within finds ways to pierce the Vail. So today we have a situation where anyone looking for salvation from party leaders is looking in the wrong place," he said.
After failing on two different occasions to win the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary ticket at Suhum, Bryan Acheampong, former unofficial chief of staff of defeated NPP chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey has now pitched camp at the Abetifi constituency, both in the Eastern Region.

The NPP is going bonkers! Today all kinds of things are happening that MUST stop immediately! Getting one’s arm around this media self-inflicted savagery is a challenge now! Letting the old folks know that in 2015/2016 the rules of their outdated political system and thinking will no longer be relevant to wrestle power. This cannot be our Hobson’s choice.

The problem and many who share this view is with how the passive supporter, floating voter and the undecided voter see the NPP. Yes undecided because they vote on goings on and who (individual and party) impresses them the most and no other consideration.
For now we do not impress them at all.
Luckily we have time! Yaaay!!. Yes, 15 months to do the repairs and look totally brand new again A brand new NPP (do you remember the New NDC?) but it must begin with us ceasing the self-inflicted media fire regardless of how hard we are provoked. An issue like discussing Talensi budget on radio is crude, attacking the national officers is toxic and attacking the presidential candidate is suicidal to our objective! and this Must STOP.
Do you remember the song Maria? in the 1959 musical "The Sound of Music” where a group of worried nuns run around their convent asking 'how you solve a problem like Maria? We don’t need a single Maria in this case nor do we need a Maria to solve this problem. The burden of dethroning foolishness must fall on somebody showing a type of courage and character that withers mine. And that somebody is You.
Let us all frown on this behavior and rise up against “Sins” on this new Order! It is important we rise up against the Sins ONLY and “Never against the Sinners”- A famous quote by Yaw Nsarkoh.
