Crucify Black Rasta - MPs Demand

Parliament has pardoned former Hitz FM presenter Blakk Rasta for his infamous wee comment against Members of Parliament.

The decision was announced on the floor of Parliament. The reggae musician who was standing in the middle of the chamber facing the speaker rendered an unqualified apology to the MPs.

Some of the MPs who felt slandered by the comment shouted ‘crucify him’ to demand a stiffer punishment. But Minority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has welcomed the radio presenter's apology saying he has been persuaded by his "body language".

If he is sincere and genuine with what he is telling us, from now on we all be watching and as the good book says by their fruits we shall know them" the Suame MP says. The Majority Leader Alban Bagbin in support appealed to the angry MPs to forgive Blakk Rasta.

The Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho has warned him and vowed "we shall be watching you" "go and sin no more".

Blakk Rasta after the verdict looked relieved and was carried shoulder high by some supporters who has besieged Parliament.
