Music Producer Fred Kyei Mensah, also known as Fredyma, has said that the Ghana music industry currently has no life as it did in the past.
The development he says has left him wondering why and how he ended up in what looks a frustrated system.
I have regretted doing music, because investing in music in Ghana is demanding and also musicians are not being respected for their hard work, he told Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa FMs Saturday afternoon entertainment discussion show, E-Voice.
According to him the industry is on its knees, with funding a major challenge.
Citing the current electricity supply crisis in the country as one other challenge crippling their businesses, he said:
The current power crisis is also stampeding growth of most music engineers and producers.
