Ghanaians Must Tell Mahama Gov't In The Face We've Reached Our "Elastic Limit" - Sammy Awuku

Sammy Awuku, National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expressed disgust at government's failure to remit her arrears to the junior doctors in the country.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi, Sammy Awuku admonished President John Mahama and his government to stop their "vulgar display of opulence" during elections and rather address the concerns of the junior doctors.

He bemoaned the Controller and Accountant General Department's inability to pay the doctors for 10 months now stressing that the government has misplaced her priorities.

Their priorities, they always get it wrong because apart from the vulgar display of opulence that they exhibit during elections, we should also be able to pay our workers who sacrifice day in day out…" he stated.

He therefore urged Ghanaians to rise up and put the government on her toes.

"...For me, the conditions that we face; they’re fearsome and people must tell this government in the face that Ghanaians have reached their elastic limit.”
