Chief Executive officer of 4SYTVE TV, Ignace Hugo has recounted how Accra based Y107.9FM On Air Presenter and TV host Eddy Blay killed his passion of being a rapper and took his girlfriend as well.

Speaking with Joel Orleans on the Dryv of Ur Lyfe on Wednesday July 29 2015 during the launch of the Ghana Hiphop and Urban Music Awards, Ignace disclosed the former member of Native Funk Lords (NFL) and Peer Pressure “murdered” him in a rap competition organized back on St. Mary’s Secondary School campus.

“Someone in this house crashed my dream of being a rapper. I’m serious. We had a battle rap and I was representing my school and he was also representing his school.

And we went to Mary’s Secondary School because that’s where the competition was held. KKD was the MC and we battled and I lost badly. And he ended up taking my girlfriend also.”

Ignace Hugo however admits Eddy Blay remains a very good friend.
