I am Not On Facebook Jordan Ayew

Aston Villa striker, Jordan Ayew, has confirmed that he does not have any official Facebook account. The 23-year-old posted on his instagram page asking his fans following him on Facebook to unfollow those accounts because they are fake. Jordan said: “The FACEBOOK account in the picture above and/or any other Facebook account claiming to represent or speak for me is neither official nor sanctioned by me.

I (and my team) do NOT have a Facebook account. Unless it is coming directly from my club, please DISREGARD any statement on any Facebook account purported to be coming from me or my team.

I appreciate the many fan pages on Facebook and the support I continue to receive. However, the fact still remains that those accounts are operated by individuals other than myself. The operators of those Facebook accounts in the name of ‘Jordan Ayew’ may mean well but do not speak for me nor represent my views in any way. Thank you @andreayew10 @rahimayew @fiifitackie @imani_ayew” Jordan signed for Aston Villan on Monday on a five-year deal from Lorient for an undisclosed fee. He marked his debut for Aston Villa in a preseason 2-2 draw with Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium on Tuesday.

He could make his Premier League debut on August 8 when Aston Villa play host to Bournemouth at the Villa Park in the opening day fixtures. Ayew scored 12 goals last season for Lorient and provided five assists to help the team escape relegation.
