Award winning dancehall genre artist widely known in showbiz industry as Stonebwoy on Wednesday, 29th July, 2015 lost his mother at an unknown hospital, Entertainment Today learnt.
The celebrated dancehall artiste who apparently is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bhim Nation shared his sad news yesterday with fans on social media (Instagram).
He said: “MAMA!! Only Jah Know”!!! Which he shared with a black image signifying death on his page.
His fellow colleagues could not hide their sadness but express their condolences to their friend and his family.
For instance, a message from award winning group, 4X4, said: “@stonebwoy our condolences & prayers are with you just be strong. Mum is smiling at you straight from heaven. RIP mama stonebwoy we love you.”
Actress Beverly Afaglo also shared her touching message, “Hmmmmmm I feel your pain because I know how attached you are to your mum. Accept my condolences @stonebwoyb.”
His fans took the opportunity to pour out their condolences to the Run Go hit-maker.
Black Canadian Award (BCA) winner, Edem, known in real life as Denning Edem Hetor, was also not left out of the mourners.
Edem had this to say: “Dear @stonebwoy I write this out because you have found yourself in a position I was at 13.You feel hurt, you still don’t believe it, your mind is racing with memories of both of you. You are having flash forwards of plans you have for her. There is no pain compared to what u feel now mixed with ‘if I had known.” At the same time you have to simultaneously be the man at the moment for all your siblings.
As I wish you my HEART felt condolences and God’s strength. I also want to remind you. Your Mom is not gone…She is what you have become, Her principles are what keep you moving …God believes her Job is done but he will surely show u her traits through your kids when they are born.
