4Syte TV boss, Ignace Hego has recounted how popular Radio and TV host, Eddy Blay killed his ambitions as a rapper – as well as taking his girlfriend away from him.

Speaking with Joel Orleans on the Dryv of Ur Lyfe on Wednesday, during the launch of the Ghana Hiphop and Urban Music Awards, Ignace disclosed that Eddy Blay (formerly of Native Funk Lords (NFL) and Peer Pressure) “murdered” him in a rap competition organized in  St. Mary’s Secondary School .

“Someone in this house crashed my dream of being a rapper. I’m serious. We had a rap battle and I was representing my school and he was also representing his school. And we went to Mary’s Secondary School because that’s where the competition was held. KKD was the MC and we battled and I lost badly. And he ended up taking my girlfriend also.”

Ignace however admits Eddy Blay remains a very good friend.
