Hearts Lost Due To Lack Of Concentration

Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, Edward Ansah has attributed his sides 1-2 defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko to lack of concentration in the latter part of the game. Two goals from Amos Frimpong and Dauda Mohammed ensured the Porcupine Warriors beat the Phobians in match-day-25 of the First Capital Plus Premier at the Accra Sports Stadium. Hearts who are stuck in the relegation zone needed the maximum points to aid their quest of beating the drop. The Phobians now occupy the 14th position and must win their remaining five matches to avoid relegation. The former Black Stars goal keepers trainer said We came here to get the maximum points and a respectable win. Looking at the league log, we needed the points. We started the game on a high note but after missing a penalty in such high profile game, naturally, the players will be down. It was a difficult time for the players but we told them to go and play football and that they can do it. Then in the second half, we got the needed equalizer. We lost a little concentration when the game was on a high note, we thought we were in control to get the needed goal to win, but loss of concentration cost us and we lost but that is not the end, we will fight for the remaining matches. Hearts of Oak will play as guest of Liberty Professional at the Carl Reindorf Park on Wednesday.
