Defending league champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, yesterday maintained their winning run in style by hammering Wa All Stars 3-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Duada Mohammed opened the scores for the Porcupine Warriors with an 11th minute volley to punish the Wa club who had earlier wasted their share of the chances.
All Stars pulled level in the 47th minute with a beautiful strike by lanky Kweku Ansuadzie.
But the goals notwithstanding, the two sides were a pale shadow of themselves.
Ahmed Toure and Obed Owusu, however, fetched the other goals in the 55th and 66th minutes respectively.
