A popular Kumasi-based man of God has descended heavily on striking doctors after describing their attitude as “unhuman” to the entire nation.

Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie, General Overseer of the Open Arms Ministries in Kumasi, stressed that – “the police is more important than doctors”.

Why? – He explained that, the police played a major role in the country even though their conditions of service – “is one of the poorest in the country”. 

“Let the police announce just a 30minute strike in this country and let see what will happen. Despite their poor condition, they are still at post working for mother Ghana. So why can’t the doctors who earn much sacrifice a little for this country?” he questioned on NEAT FM’s morning show "Ghana Montie".

Public sector doctors across the country over a week ago proceeded on a strike action after their negotiation with the government reached a stalemate - they have vowed to desert their consulting rooms until their request are met by the government.

The doctors’ action has resulted in the death of some patients across the country, while others in critical condition have been left to their own fate.

Their strike according to Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie also known as “Bro Saint Sark” is - “totally rubbish. They are being crooks. They are heartless. They should keep it put so we lose human beings just because of their personal interest”.

He however threatened them of some consequences if they don’t end their strike.
