NDC "Pepper Spray" Executives Granted Bail: Party Gurus & Supporters Want E/R Minister And DCE Out

Mahama Salifu, the Kwahu-Mpraeso constituency chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Eastern Region and other executives of the party have been granted bail today by the Mpraeso Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Justice Mariam Saleh Sinare.

They include the Vice Chairman, Organiser, Deputy Organiser and Youth Organiser.

Peacefmonline.com gathered that the executives were remanded on the orders of the Kwahu South District Chief Executive (DCE), Joseph Omari.

They were remanded into custody to reappear in court on 14 August, 2015.

However, the executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Eastern region, have directed that all constituency party offices in the region be closed down until the District Chief Executive for Kwahu South, Joseph Omari is removed from office.

According to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri NDC constituency Chairman, William Atta Mudji, speaking to the media on behalf of his other colleagues asked for the removal of the Eastern Regional Minister, Antwi Boasiako Sekyere, the DCE, Joseph Omari and other incompetent DCE's in the region.

All 32 Constituency Chairmen and party faithfuls hit Mpraeso streets on Monday morning demonstrating for the removal of the Regional Minister, DCE and other incompetent DCE's in the region.
