First Capital Plus League To Go On 3-week Break

The First Capital plus Premier League will go on a three week break after week 28 of the games has been played. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm. The Premier League Board (PLB) has confirmed that the domestic top-flight will be brought to a halt after Sunday�s League fixtures at the various centers. This is to enable all the other GFA sanctioned competitions to be completed as scheduled on the calendar. The MTN FA Cup, GN Bank division one League and the Elite Club Cup competitions were expected to be completed before the League ends in September but the constant hitches has led to the delay of those competitions hence propelling organizers to bring the League to a halt in other for the matches in those competitions to be cleared. The First Capital plus Premier League meanwhile is expected to resume on Sunday September 6 for the remaining two matches to be cleared.
