Two in the Grips of Police for Stealing GH�1,950.00

The Amasaman Police command under the District Commander, DSP S.K. Kwaakye have arrested two persons; Patience Oparebea a.k.a. Akos, 30, and Courage Faradeem Muhammed, 28, a taxi driver, for stealing an amount of GH�1,950.00 from Akua Adoma, 30, a trader. However, Frank Osei who was on board the taxi is currently on the run and investigations have revealed that the money is in his possession. Confirmation by DSP S.K. Kwaakye indicates that Akua Adoma boarded a taxi driven by Courage, from Tantra Hills to Spot �M�, both suburbs of Accra, but after alighting, she realized that her GH�1,950.00 was missing from her hand bag. Police say the suspects are yet to be arraigned before court.
