Radio Gold�s Suhuyini To Contest NDC Tamale North Primaries

The 2016 general elections seem to be attracting more media practitioners in the country, as Radio Gold’s breakfast show host Alhassan Suhini also laces up for the big contest to enter Parliament.

Information available to citifmonline.com suggests that the astute broadcaster, Alhassan Suhuyini is gearing up to wrestle the Tamale North seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The incumbent MP for the area, Alhassan Dahamani won the seat as an independent candidate.

Other big names in the media also seeking to become Parliamentarians are Abeiku Santana [Mfansteman constituency in the Central region], Kojo Oppong Nkramah [Ofoase Ayirebi in the Eastern Region], Eric Don-Arthur [Effutu constituency in the Central Region] and others.

About Suhuyini

Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini is the host of two of Radio Gold’s flagship programs; the breakfast show called the “Gold Power Drive” and the weekend socio-economic and political current affairs program – Alhaji and Alhaji talk show.

His career as a radio presenter started at Diamond FM in Tamale before he moved to Accra. He had a brief stint with Citi FM and Metro TV before settling with Radio Gold.

He was appointed in 2013 by President John Dramani Mahama as a board member of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

As of 2014 he was the Communications Manager for the National Hajj Council (Ghana).
