A sympathizer of the former Information Minister, identified as Kankam who joined some NPP faithfuls last night to demonstrate against the arrest of the former minister is reported dead as a result of the tear gas and life bullets fired at them by the police.
This was confirmed on Peace Fm�s Morning Show �Kokrokoo� by a close relation, Mr Samuel Awuku, as well as Mrs Asamoah Boateng. According to Mr Awuku, the deceased was affected by the tear gas allegedly forced by the policemen. He then started complaining of headache, dizziness and heartburns which continued throughout last night.
He revealed that, the late Mr Kankam was a CPP activist and a member of AFAG.
