Kenpong Travel & Tours, one of Ghana’s top-selling travel agencies, has been presented with a cheque for undisclosed amount of money for its efforts under the ‘Outstanding Agency Incentive’ sales initiative organised by Ethiopian Airlines.
The programme was designed by Ethiopian Airlines to show gratitude and encourage Kenpong Travel & Tours and others to increase the revenue of the airline.
The tour agent’s performance was assessed from September 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015.
The awards dinner was attended by the best-selling travel agencies in the country like Travel Matters, Doscar Travels, Jubilee Travels and SAT Guru Travels, etc. who were also presented with the Agency Incentive Awards by Genet W. Michael, General Manager of Ethiopian Airlines Ghana.
Kenpong Travel and Tours President, Kennedy Agyapong, in a telephone interview, pointed out that the recognition by the airline would encourage his outfit to work hard in the travel and tour business.
“This clearly shows that whatever you commit yourself to do, if you attach seriousness to it, you would be recognized and awarded accordingly as Ethiopian Airlines has demonstrated,” said Kenpong.
