South Sudan Leader Salva Kiir Snubs Peace Deal

South Sudan's President Salva Kiir has refused to sign a final peace deal following talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, aimed at ending the country's civil war. Pagan Amum, the secretary-general of South Sudan's ruling party, and rebel chief Riek Machar, signed a draft agreement committing them to peace, but the government said it needed 15 more days to finalise a deal.
