<<Print>>Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese says hip life artiste Kontihene is trying to ride on his fame to resurrect his [Kontihene's] ‘dead career’.
He said, "Kontihene became news ten years ago so if he comes back on the radio to be talking about me and throwing punches at me, then it means he wants to use me to resurrect his career. Kontihene is dead".
The rapper was reacting to comments Kontihene made on 'Pulse TV' that he was never going to record a song with the King of the Streets because his songs lack content.
But in a sharp response, Kwaw Kese said "the whole world knows that Kwaw Kese is still on top, I'm performing every other weekend and nobody talks about that guy anymore so I don't think he should use me to resurrect his career, I beg him, he should just remain calm and be where he is", he added.
He was speaking to Amanda Jissih on Hitz FM's showbiz Filla on his 20 year development plan to transform the prisons.
Kwaw Kese served a day’s sentence at the Kumasi Central prisons after he was convicted of smoking heroin in public in November 2014.
He said, "when I was released from the Kumasi central prison, I decided to embark on this NGO with this 20 years development plan and our main aim is to transform our prisons and make it a bit comfortable for the inmates for them to come back to society to help with nation building".
He said the foundation is working on bringing on board industries to give training to the inmates so that they will have some form of vocation to support themselves when they eventually get released.
"We are trying to bring industries to the various prison, some of which are book making factories, chalk making factories, block, farms, uniform so that these prisoner don't seat down ideal doing nothing with their time but they can get some handy works and help to build a great nation Ghana".
The foundation was pre-launched on Tuesday August 28, 2015 at the central Prisons where he announced his intention to embark on a road tour to solicit funds to supports the foundation starting from the Makola market.
