Sex Video: Begoro Limping Man Freed

The key suspect in the Begoro sex tape scandal in the Eastern Region, Yaw Offei is now a free man.

The limping photographer was freed after he vehemently denied recording and distributing the leaked tapes. The 53-year-old was arrested by the Manhyia Divisional Police Command in Kumasi when some vigilant members of the public spotted him and alerted the police.

Three others were earlier picked up by the police to assist in investigations after videos involving Offei’s alleged sexual encounters with 64 women had leaked.

He accuses one of his former apprentices of recording and distributing the tapes. According to him, the said apprentice sent him a text message on August 18, 2014 threatening to reveal his escapades to the public if he does not pay her off.

“I quickly sent her GHC 600. I had to run away from Begoro because of the stigma,” Mr. Offei explained. Fanteakwa District Chief Executive (DCE), Abbas Sbabe confirmed his release in an interview with Adom News citing the same excuse by Offei.

Offei became a household name after his recorded sexual escapades leaked into the public. The recorded videos led to chaos in the Eastern Regional town with ladies spotted in the video running from the town.

The DCE said that he has been seeing Offei in the Begoro town after his release.
