She entered the music industry on a low note and became a household name when she left an indelible mark in the minds of Ghanaians after her energetic performances at the Ghana Music awards some years ago.

Since then Gifty Osei has become one of the finest and well known gospel musicians Ghana can boast of.

In an interview on Tv3 New Day, she said even though she is famous, fame has not gotten to her, it has not changed anything about her.

“Fame has not gotten to me, I do things in a simple way, just like any other person, I cook for my family, I wash, I bath my kids, I do everything I have to do, I go to the market and I shop,” she said.

Aside that, she admitted that fame has opened a lot of doors for her.

“Yes fame has opened doors for me, big ones like having opportunities to travel, meeting the president, the ministers and big men of God,” she said.

Gifty Osei is a celebrated gospel musician, she released her debut album Aseda in 2007.

She was recently honored with a Best Female Gospel Musician award in Italy and she is promoting her "Jesus Be Too Much" album.
