Grassroots Politicking Key For Electoral Victory CPP

Mr Kofi Baidoo, aspiring National Organiser of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) on Tuesday adjudged grassroots politicking as critical for electoral victory. You neglect the grassroots to the peril of your electoral victory. Grassroots politicking hinges on effective organisation at the polling station levels, constituencies and regional structures but unfortunate CPP National Organiser position, which serves as the machinery for mobilisation has been weak. As far as I am concerned, the bane of the CPP has been electing a weak National Organiser and that as a person who does not chase after titles but solve problems, I fit perfectly for that job to rejuvenate and strengthen the party, Mr Baidoo told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview after picking nominations forms to contest for the slot.
