NDC Primaries: Lawyer Sosu Prevented From Picking Forms

Supporters of the Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu went mad at executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Madina constituency in the Greater Accra Region after the Human Rights Lawyer was denied nomination forms by the executives.

This, he said drove his supporters mad accusing opponents of Lawyer Sosu of scheming to get him out of the political race hence denying him forms.

“When my supporters arrived at the constituency office, they were told that there were only two forms available and they had already been picked up…my filing fee was taken and we were told to come in the afternoon but when we went there, there was still none…,” he said.

The Lawyer in an interview on Adom FM appealed for calm arguing that there was no way he could be denied the forms.

He added that, he can go to the regional and national levels to pick up the nomination forms.

Francis Sosu who would be contesting incumbent Alhaji Amadu Sorogo if he successfully files his forms said, he has always been an NDC member.
