Prez Mahamas Achievement Will Speak Volume In 2016 Elections - E/R NDC Youth Organizer

The Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC], Apau Wiredu Haruna, has cautioned all executives both in government and in the party to be seen working more in their various constituencies rather than following President Mahama around.

According to him, it is time for all the executives to step out from their various offices to work hard for President Mahama so that he does not suffer the same way during the 2012 election campaign as he toured the whole country by himself to convince Ghanaians to vote for him.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Apau Wiredu Haruna admitted that the 2016 election will be a tough contest despite the achievement of President Mahama in the country and especially to the people of Eastern Region as he [Mahama] has provided good drinking water, roads and other infrastructural projects in the region.

“….so to all NDC members, it is time to move to the grounds to work hard for the party because anybody who feels this is easy contest is simply naïve; this will be a tough contest for us but I believe that the achievement of President Mahama in the country will speak volume during the 2016 elections…”

He emphasized that the only the way which will soften the grounds for President Mahama is for all party executives and those in government to move out from their comfort zones to the polling stations to work hard for the President.

He insisted it is time for the NDC executives to show their love for the President so that his work will be simple and easy to win the elections; adding “if he is leading the way to the war front, then it beholds us to get from our comfort zones to the grounds and soften the grounds for him.”
