Ayariga Hot As Bawku Central Falls For Dori

The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga is currently losing his popularity in the region to his opponent, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori as the National Democratic Congress prepares for their parliamentary primaries. Hundreds of supporters thronged to the streets of Bawku to support Dori as he made his way to the partys office to pick his nomination form. The people of the town are looking for change and have identified Ibrahim Dori as the potential candidate who can perform the task. Some supporters also visited the aspirant at home to discuss into details why he has won their heart and certainly their vote. They scolded the incumbent MP for the area for doing little for the very people who voted for him. According to them, Bawku Central should have seen magnificent development with Mahama Ayariga as their MP but cannot boast of such amenities. Considering where he has come from right from being a spokesman to the late former president Atta Mills, to being deputy trade minister; then a deputy education minister; youth and sport and now environment minister, he has done little for us and we would massively vote against him, one member of the NDC said.
