The annual Ghana Association of Savings and Loans Companies (GHASALC) games is slated for September 12 at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra and is expected to draw about 24 teams made up of savings and loans companies in the country.

GHASALC is the umbrella body for all Savings and Loans Companies in Ghana and it is aimed at building a solid platform to promote the interest of Savings and Loans Companies in Ghana.

The maiden edition of the GHASALC games was held in Kumasi at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Global Access Savings and Loans emerged winners. This year’s games promises to be very exciting with Best Point Savings and Loans Limited as the main sponsor of the much anticipated event.

Commenting on the GHALSAC games, the Managing Director of Best Point Savings and Loans, Mr. Kofi Ampofo Agyapong said: “As a core business value, Best Point Savings and Loans also believes in keeping fit since good health enables the achievement of greater heights in every chosen field”.

Mr Agyapong stated that the sponsorship package is to encourage members to join in nurturing a stronger advocacy network and assist GHASALC to bring closer all stakeholders in the Savings and Loans sector”.

He further expressed his company’s support for the Savings and Loans sector saying, “Best Point Savings and Loans is passionate about partnering businesses to expand, growing the savings and loans sector and developing the economy of Ghana.”

Organized by Global Media Alliance, the one day sports gala will witness financial heavyweights putting aside their suits and ties to battle for medals as they network and exchange ideas whiles having fun.
