MUSIGA president, Obour has marked his performance as MUSIGA president as the most successful ever in the history of the association. Bice Osei Kuffour in an interview on Joy News said he has achieved almost every plan he laid down to attain during his term of office as MUSIGA president. Obour said he has reached the �Adwuma Pa� goal which was an acronym for the seven things he wanted to achieve during his tenure of office. �It�s been so perfect. I have not deviated from the vision. I came into MUSIGA promising seven key project points. My entire coming to MUSIGA, I promised ADWUMA PA which was acronym for seven things I wanted to achieve. First was accountable administration. For the first time in the history of the Musicians Union of Ghana, I published our yearly account on our website, there is nothing accountable than that. I mean it�s always on the website; you can go and look at it for yourself I promised job creation so we created the Ghana Music Week. Even the Ghana Music Week launch in the USA, we will go with about 18 musicians. Again, anytime there is Ghana Music Week, we give jobs to more than 2000 musicians because it is a seven day stretch. So I promised creating jobs for the musicians as part of the ADWUMA PA. I promised the aging musicians welfare fund as part of my ADWUMA PA and the aging musicians welfare fund was born in 2012, my second year in office I was able to achieve that. And I promised pushing for the right policies to guide the industry. I�ve been able to secure funding from the government which is the controversial Gh2 million we all know and was used to do a comprehensive document on the music industry� MUSIGA goes to the polls on October 29 at the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua for about 150 delegates to either retain current president Obour or elect a new one.
