Police Follow Any "Useless Person" Bcos They Sit Idle And "Twiddle Their Thumbs" - Ursula Goes Wild

NPP Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has lambasted the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service for inviting her party's Vice National Chairman and Treasurer over alleged financial misappropriation.

According to her, the CID invitation shocks her because she expected the Police personnel to have asked very fundamental questions before sending out the invites.

Speaking to host Nana Yaw on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Hon. Ursula Owusu expressed disgust that any "useless person" could walk to the CID and file a complaint about the leaders of the NPP, and then the Police also will follow up without making the necessary investigations.

“It shocks me that the Police failed to ask the fundamental question; ‘who are you?’, ‘what is your locus?’, ‘what is your standing?’. Your position in the party, do you have authority to activate investigative procedure?”

“They have the right to investigate genuine complaints, not frivolous complaints," she exclaimed.

To her, these things are happening because the Police just sometimes sit idle and "twiddle their thumbs" without doing any tangible work.
