Pastor Fined Ghc1,500 For Impregnating Church Member's Wife
A 55-year-old Pastor of the Jesus Is the Answer Church at Nketepa in the Eastern Region, Pastor Asare has been fined 1,500 cedis for impregnating a church member's wife.
The Pastor was fined the amount after admitting the accusation to the traditional court at the area in the Kwahu South district.
According to an eyewitness, Bonsu Yaw, Pastor Asare had an amorous affair with the lady resulting in her pregnancy.
Sources close to Peacefmonlinel.com indicate that the woman has been in labour for about 11 months.
The court headed by Ada Chief, Nene Tetteh Sappor passed the judgment and the Pastor is expected to pay up the sum to avoid further punishment.
Meanwhile, husband of the pregnant wife, Gati Martin expressed shock at the incident. He has threatened to divorce the woman.
