Toilet Paper Worth More Than Mahama's Contender Forms - Koku Anyidoho

A deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed that presidential aspirant, George Boateng does not have original nomination forms to challenge President Mahama in the partys primaries. Koku Anyidoho says the supposed form sold to the 45-year-old polling station youth organizer at Oyarifa was a dummy of the original. Goerge Boateng made the headlines last week after picking nomination forms at the NDCs headquarters to challenge President Mahama for the presidential nomination of the NDC for the 2016 election. The party leadership said they were baffled about how he got his nomination forms in the absence of the General Secretary. The leaders say a thorough investigation has revealed that clerks at the partys headquarters sold a dummy to the presidential hopeful; the two have subsequently been sacked for flouting party regulations. Speaking on Asempa FM, Koku Anyidoho urged the presidential hopeful to reconsider his stance because even toilet paper is worth more than the form he is brandishing around. He explained that per the partys rules, it is only the General Secretary or his assigns who can endorse and issue presidential nomination forms. The deputy General Secretary admitted that the NDC executives are embarrassed by the current development. According to him, the governing party cannot have a person with the "character" of George Boateng challenging the president for the partys nomination. Koku Anyidoho called on the presidential hopeful to follow the right process to buy his forms if he is serious about contesting the president ahead of the November 7 parliamentary and presidential elections.
