I Will Go To Pantang For A Mental Check-up Before Picking My Nomination Form Mahamas Rival

NDC’s George Boateng who has been described as a mentally disabled person after declaring his intention to contest President John Dramani Mahama in the party’s November 7 primaries will today visit the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital for a medical checkup.

George explained that his reason to go through the thorough psychiatric examination is to rubbish claims that he is “mad” – as claimed by his party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

According to the presidential aspirant – he will pick the “original” presidential nomination form today [Monday, September 7, 2015] at the party’s headquarters, - after his mental examination from the health institution.

He however called on the media to follow proceedings at the Pantang hospital to report the “fact” about his mental status.

I have information that Asiedu Nketiah and the rest want to disqualify me on the basis that I’m mentally sick and I will never allow that to happen. So to ensure that they don’t use that against me, I have decided to go for a test at the Pantang Hospital by 10am sharp today.

…The media can follow me and cover the event as I want the public to be witnesses. I’m confident that the doctor after examining me will give me the clearance. After that is done, I’ll move straight to the headquarters for another form,” he said on Accra-based Kasapa FM.
