FIFA President Sepp Blatter has congratulated Ashantigold FC on winning the First Capital Plus Premier League, describing the Club�s success as an "exceptional performance".

Ashantigold clinched their 4th Ghana Premier League title after beating WAFA 1-0 in their last but one game of the season played at the Obuasi Stadium on last Sunday.
The Miners had to wait 19 years to win the title after they last won the Ghanaian topflight league in 1996.
