Boavista Have Resurrected My Career Samuel Inkoom

Ghana and Boavista right back Samuel Inkoom has disclosed that he has finally found joy in playing the game once again after a turbulent couple of seasons.

Inkoom has played for six clubs including FC Basel, Dnipro, Bastia and his present club Boavista since leaving the shores of Ghana in 2009. Following two successful seasons with Basel the former U-20 World Cup star made the move to Ukraine where he joined Dnipro for a fee in the region of £5 million pounds. The player who has been capped 48 times for the senior national team the Black Stars says the conducive environment in Portugal has also contributed to his surge in form.

“I think I am doing great and everything is going the way I want.” “I love the way the football is played in Portugal and I have been playing really well lately.” “I love the environment as well because I believe that in our job if you love the place where you play it will translate into good performances on the pitch.” “As things stand now I am pleased with my performances,” he told Citi Sports. Inkoom is expected to start for Boavista when they play Pacos de Ferreira on Monday night.
