It's Easy To Win Nsawam/Adoagyiri - NDC Aspirant

A Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapim South and aspirant for the Nsawam/Adoagyiri constituency, Dr. Godfred Osei Bonsu Twum has stated his intention to snatch the Nsawam/Adoagyiri seat from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) as he filed his nomination forms.

Dr. Twum stated that snatching the seat from the incumbent, Frank Annoh-Dompreh was the easiest thing to do; hence appealed to delegates of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to vote for him come November 7.

The aspirant told journalists that he is a grassroots person with the ability to win the seat for the ruling party in the December 2016 general election.

According to him, many projects were started during his tenure as MCE for the area and thus is the best candidate to win the sear.

Dr. Twum further stated that the current Member of Parliament for the area has failed the people of the constituency and there is the need to change him for better and faster development in the constituency.

He added that NDC needs someone who cuts across the political divide and can win more votes for the party at the main election.

A total of 689 aspirants of the governing NDC filed to contest in the November 7 primaries when filing of nominations closed on Thursday.

This excludes figures from the Ashanti Region, which had the closing date extended.
