Mr. Herbert Mensah, President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU), officially announced the preliminary fixture list for the 2015/16 Ghana Rugby Club Championship (GRCC).
According to Mr. Mensah, “The 2014/15 Rugby Club Championship in Ghana was a major step towards building the capacities and awareness of Rugby in Ghana and we believe that the 2015/16 tournament will take the previous successes to new heights.”
The 2015/16 GRCC will again be battled for top top honours on a pool basis with six teams from the Greater Accra Region (Pool A) who will compete for semi final spots while four teams from CentWest (Pool B) will do the same.

“The development of sport and indeed our youth is strangled due to lack of support from Government and we indeed need the support of our corporate bodies. Rugby is about instilling the values of integrity, passion, teamwork, discipline and respect in our youth,” Mr. Mensah said.
