The Ghana Football Association once contemplated hiring the services of Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Ashgold CEO, Kudjoe Fianoo, a key figurehead at the Football Association has told Kasapa Sports, adding his job would have been to help them unravel the mystery surrounding several tagging of the FA as being corrupt.
“During one of our meetings, it came up that we should go hire Anas to come and help us. It was an idea mooted by the President. It was informed by the constant corruption allegations made against persons in the fraternity.
“For some of us who are custodians of the game, this whole corruption issue worries us,”.
A move that may have gone quietly unnoticed until the investigations were ready to go mainstream.
